Email Address Issues
Question: Why doesn't my email address work correctly with the email discussion lists that you host?
Answer: Does your address contain a so called "special character"? A special character is a -, /, #, etc. What happens is that the list server incorrectly interprets your email address as a command rather than an address.
Question: Why can I receive email, but not send email with one of your email addresses?
Answer: The smtp server we use has a sensitive authentication policy. First, you must insure your email client is configured to "Allow Authorization" and that you are using your email address as your login. i.e. gnewell@expedition-outfitters.com
Email List Digests Arrive As Multiple Attachments
Question:I am subscribed to an email discussion list which is hosted by INTERNET EXTENSION COMPUTER AND NETWORK SERVICES. However, when it arrives in my "IN" basket, each message in the digest is a separate attachment.
Answer: Generally, this is due to the fact that the email client is not interpreting the .EZM file type correctly. Please review the instructions for fixing the problem.
